PRODUCTS
*Paneling. Standard v-joint tongue and grove paneling (WP-4 pattern). Custom tongue and grove paneling from the company's non-standard profiles or draw your own profile to be matched. Wainscot. End-matched. Raised-panel wainscot. Beadboard.
*Flooring. Solid 3/4 inch strip flooring with and without micro-bevel. Plank flooring. Thick veneer wood laminated flooring. Finger-jointed flooring lineals. Special 5/16 inche flooring for remodeling.
*Millwork. Mouldings -- custom base, casing, bead, crown and chair-rail. Stair products -- treads, risers, runners.
*Veneer. High-quality, thin sliced venner from 1/32 to 1/2 inch. Veneer plywood panels.
*Components. Components for cabinetry, doors and windows.
*Lumber. Hardwood and softwood, kiln dried, and sorted by color, width, and length requirements. Standard and non-standard S5S boards. Lumber of thickness up to 1.5 inches. Rough, surfaced two sides, surfanced one side, ripped straight one edge.
*Notes. Product grades are "Select" (fine, elegant appearance with minimal knots), "Premium" (sound knots, natural characteristics, and color variations created a warm and inviting look), and "Rustic" (a great northwoods feel provided by allowing all natural and processing characteristics of the wood species--great for cabins or rustic rooms).
CAPABILITIES
The company can provide consistent quality by controlling product inputs from the forest through the sawmill and drying processes to the final standard or custom end product. Special services include double end triming, soft feed S2S surfacing, special width and length sorts, complete exort services, and cut-to-size veneers. Stam kiln drying facilities with an annual capacity of 8 million board feet.

Rajala Millwork & Lumber Company offers True North Woods certified products. 100% of Rajala woods are produced from materials harvested from the sustainably managed forests of northern Minnesota. Over 95 percent of the wood used by the company comes from the Rajala Mill Company which sources its wood from its own private forestlands and logging jobs that follow the Voluntary Site Level Guidelines of the Minnesota Forest Resources Council. Our private forests are nutured both for diversity and quality.
HISTORY
Now in its fourth generation, Rajala Companies produces products of local hardwood and pine, as well as custom projects of all species. Focused both on better forests and better products, Rajalas own and sustainably manage their own lands and work with private and public landowners to manage their timberlands as well.
