The Minnesota Wood Campaign

The Campaign, owned by wood and forest product producers and supported by its members, is a joint marketing and branding venture for the True North Woods® certification brand and the products bearing the brand. The organization was founded in 2003.

The long-range vision for the True North Woods® certification brand is to be recognized and appreciated by discriminating and demanding customers worldwide.

The Campaign also provides the following specialized services to businesses.

Workshops & Seminars. Special workshops and seminars provide businesses and business associations with information about various topics including the unique characteristics and traits of our northern Minnesota wood species.
Local & Sustainable Supplier Consortium. With the increasing use of the LEED certification standards as well as the development of local Green certification programs, the Campaign will assist architect, builders, and specifiers identify and source materials that meet the requirements for local and FSC certified wood.
