The North Woods Education Project received major funding from the Wood Education and Resource Center of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Additional funding for the Project was provided by Iron Range Resources, Blandin Foundation, Carolyn Foundation, Northeast Minnesota Regional Sustainable Development Partnership,  Andersen Corporation, Minnesota Power, and Duluth-Superior Area Community Foundation. The Webinar program was developed in cooperation with Natural Resources Research Institute at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
